Montreal Olympic Parc

Built for the 1976 Olympic Games, the stadium has become one of the symbols of the city internationally, in particular thanks to its unique architecture and its famous tower. The Montreal Olympic Stadium is an indoor sports stadium with a capacity of 56,000 seats, which can be developed up to a capacity of 65,000 seats. Designed by French architect Roger Taillibert at the request of Mayor Jean Drapeau.

Located in the heart of Montreal's Olympic Park, the Olympic Stadium is part of a set of facilities, including the Tower of Montreal, the Sports Center, the outdoor esplanades, as well as a vast indoor parking lot with nearly 4,000 spaces. An emblematic building of the city of Montreal, it remains controversial, being seen both as an architectural masterpiece and as a white elephant.

Nicknamed in English the "Big O" in reference to its shape seen from above, it is the largest stadium in Canada. Its 165-meter-high tower, supporting 75% of the roof load, is the tallest inclined structure in the world. Since 2012, it has been the Montreal Impact's winter stadium. In addition to the pitches, it houses a sports center with seven swimming pools.

Located in Montreal's Olympic Park, within the quadrilateral formed by Sherbrooke Street, Viau Boulevard, Pierre-De Coubertin Avenue and Pie-IX Boulevard, in the Mercier–Hochelaga-Maisonneuve borough, it borders Maisonneuve Park and the Botanical Garden. Two Montreal metro stations provide access: Pie-IX and Viau.
